60 Days : What is it?

60 Days is an idea I had while trying to decide what to do with the domains I have sitting around doing nothing — (well nothing but being a nagging reminder that I'll never have time for every idea that pops into my head, and that domain names cost money to keep).

The Goal

60 Days will launch January 1st 2009. See you then.

    Sounds like a cool idea. I was starting something similar but with Python. I also would allow myself as much time as I wanted to think about things and plan as much but only 7 days to do the implementation. I've almost finished site number 1 after 2 days.

    That's 7 days counting days not working on the project by the way

    This sounds like a fabulous idea. May I suggest including the FLOW3 framework in your series?

    Which frameworks do you plan to use?

    Great idea.

    Which frameworks in which order?

    You don't know, maybe someone else can do the same and you can compare notes.

    This is a great idea, I wish I had the time/commitment to do something like this. Looking forward to following along with your progress.

    I knew that framework choice would be the most controversial thing about this series! I just narrowed the field down to 5 or 6 and picked one umm semi-randomly, after I get rolling I'll probably take more input into the choices.

    @Dougal
    I wish I were that fast! The 60 days includes learning the framework, planning, writing the series etc.

    Great idea !
    In your mind, does the site have a link with the domain ?

    I own a domain, because a typing error….should I develop on that ?
